Original HW85/95/98 Kolben von Weihrauch, hinten gelagert mit einem Ring aus hochgleitfähigem, beschichtetem PTFE, auch bekannt als Teflon. Die Beschichtung mit Bronze  macht das PTFE widerstandsfähiger gegen Verformung und Verschleiß. Das Lagern des Kolbens vermeidet den Kontakt Metall auf Metall, führt ihn präziser und reduziert das Schussgeräusch.

Original HW85/95/98 piston from Weihrauch, mounted at the rear with a ring made of highly lubricious, coated PTFE, also known as Teflon. The bronze coating makes the PTFE more resistant to deformation and wear. The bearing avoids metal-to-metal contact, guides the piston more precisely and reduces the firing noise.
